3 Ways To Dream With Awareness

How were you taught to create? Do you believe that you are the master creator of your own life? In The Four Agreements, Ruiz talks about dreaming with awareness. I call this creating with focus. What this means is using the foundational belief that you are creating your own life to create with true Soulful focus, instead of creating with blinders on or from fear. Love creates love. Fear creates fear.

1. Taking Responsibility

Who are you blaming for your life? Is it your boss, your clients, your peers, your mother or father (or both), or even the Divine? Casting blame means that we don’t have to face that we truly are in control of our choices in how we feel, think and create. Notice today who you are blaming the most for your life and simply say, “I release this blame that is taking power away from creating the life that I desire.”

2. Who’s Beliefs Are These Anyway?

What are some of your core beliefs? Are they really yours? I know you believe in them, but do you want to believe in them? Today, you get to decide what beliefs you want to focus your power on. Here are a couple of sustainable beliefs: I am love. I am abundant. I am creating the life I desire. I trust the Divine. I trust myself.

3. Laughter Is The Best Medicine

I don’t know about you, but I can take life a little too seriously. There is a belief, for which I’m still in the process of making different choices, that says if you are light and having fun, well then you are not committed to what you do. So I have committed to having more fun. If you take life too seriously, how do you want to have fun today?

Dream Interpretation Today – How to Become a Professional Dream Translator

The best psychotherapy you can find is given by the wise unconscious mind in your own dreams. No matter what kind of problem you may have, you will surely find the solution you need through dream translation. The unconscious mind that produces your dreams is your natural doctor.

Right now I’m the only professional dream translator who can immediately help you translate the meaning of your dreams, but I’m hoping to form a team of dream translators. If you want to, you can join my group and help me immediately translate dreams for the public. Now that I simplified Carl Jung’s method of dream interpretation, everyone can easily learn the dream language.

I have many excellent students who have easily learned the dream language. I could give you numerous examples. However, they don’t want to work online translating dreams. I also have many lazy students, but I don’t think that I should be blamed because they don’t follow my instructions.

If you want to really learn how to translate the meaning of dreams you must translate many dreams into practice, and not only your own dreams, but many other people’s dreams. Dream interpretation is not a theoretical knowledge.

You must also study the dreamers’ life stories, and relate the messages contained in their dreams to their case. You must give specific guidance to all dreamers after translating their dreams.

Don’t worry because this guidance is clearly given by the wise unconscious mind in the dream images. You only have to help all dreamers understand that they should follow this guidance and change their behavior, become more self-confident, or do something else, depending on their case.

This practice will help you understand your own dreams much better. You’ll have a global vision of the dream language, and easier understand the wise lessons of the unconscious mind in any dream.

The dream language is universal. All dream symbols have the same meaning for all dreamers. Therefore, you only have to study this language once in your life. Then, you’ll have this knowledge forever.

When you’ll master the dream language, all confused dream images will become very clear for you. You’ll know how to make the right associations, since you’ll immediately look at the dream images and scenes like an expert. You’ll immediately identify the most important dream symbols and immediately understand the basic unconscious messages in a dream.

Of course, you have to practice in order to reach this stage. There is an initial difficulty.

Do speak a foreign language?

If you do, you know what I’m talking about, especially if you had to study this language without having previously had any contact with people who speak it everyday in their country. It’s quite hard to learn a different language.

In the beginning of your studies you feel lost in the space. However, the beginning doesn’t last forever. The beginning is an empty and difficult period of time that has a limited duration. Once you get familiar with the dream symbols, the unconscious language becomes simple.

The more you learn about the meaning of dreams and the importance of the unconscious messages, more you’ll desire to learn about this matter. Your dream journal will become your most adored treasure.

You are very lucky because you can easily unlock the treasure contained in your own dreams now that I give you a clear vision of the meaning of the dream images. Carl Jung couldn’t understand a million details that I could discover through my own research, and many comparisons.

I directly tell you in my work that you are crazy because you have inherited an absurd content into the biggest part of your brain. Carl Jung couldn’t simply recognize the general absurdity that characterizes the human being. On the other hand, he didn’t have the same vision I have today, because I was enlightened by many scientific discoveries that happened after his death. These discoveries confirm that we are in fact violent and absurd animals.

We act based on animal instincts, even though we can think. We don’t use our rationalism all the time.

On the other hand, our capacity to think logically is not as helpful as you may imagine. There are many false logic systems that seem to be reasonable, while they are totally absurd.

I show you that you can become even crazier with time, and this is why you must prevent worst craziness. Unfortunately, even if you believe that you are a normal person, you are not balanced because you have inherited an absurd wild conscience that keeps trying to destroy your human conscience.

For example, whenever you show anger, you are controlled by your anti-conscience, which is the wild and violent side of your conscience that didn’t evolve like your human side. You must learn how to be always calm, and never become angry for any reason.

Anger is an animal reaction. It doesn’t matter if you are logically right for becoming angry with someone else’s mistakes. You are always wrong when you act like a monster. You should surely become sad, but without showing anger.

Never let anger control your thoughts and your behavior. Anger can easily lead you to craziness and terror. You have to show compassion, and immediately forgive everyone’s mistakes, without being dominated by hatred. Remember that human beings are imperfect creatures. Compassion and forgiveness will forever protect you from craziness and terror.

I summarize Carl Jung’s work concerning the different psychological types, showing you the absurdity that characterizes each psychological type. You’ll understand what is logical or absurd, and you’ll learn how to find real balance.

Once you become a professional dream translator you’ll understand the general meaning of all dreams only by immediately identifying negative or positive dream symbols in a dream collection.

When you’ll identify many negative dream symbols like the spider and teeth falling out in a dream collection, you’ll understand that the dreamer is losing his/her mental stability.

The spider indicates great danger. The dreamer must urgently do something in order to prevent future problems.

Teeth falling out indicate that the dreamer is losing psychical energy. He is making serious mistakes that are ruining his personality and life.

Positive dream symbols like the empty swimming pool and the bright sun light will show you that the dreamer is passing through an evolutionary process.

Am empty swimming pool indicates maturity. The dreamer finally understood something very important about his life.

The sunlight represents real truth. This means that the dreamer is not being misled by false impressions. He can see the truth as it is.

Only by being able to understand the meaning of the basic dream symbols that appear in each dream you will already understand the psychological condition of each dreamer.

You’ll be able to immediately translate a series of dreams by identifying the basic positive or negative dream symbols in a dream collection. This alternative will be very helpful when you’ll have to immediately translate many dreams for the same dreamer.

Christina Sponias continued Carl Jung’s research into the human psyche, discovering the cure for all mental illnesses, and simplifying the scientific method of dream interpretation that teaches you how to exactly translate the meaning of your dreams, so that you can find health, wisdom and happiness.Learn more at:http://www.scientificdreaminterpretation.comhttp://www.booksirecommend.com

Health Habits: Keep Smiling At Adversity

The News May Be Bad, But The NEWSS Can Help

by Michael D. Hume, M.S.

Economy got you down? You’re not alone. A lot of people are struggling to do their jobs these days… or to find a job… or to keep their job. Add other bits of diversity to the struggle, such as a fight with a friend, a divorce, a death in the family, or the like, and it can be tough to keep a positive attitude.

In June, the Association for Psychological Science released findings about how negative thoughts can lead to depression. Most folks are able to fight through and “get over it,” but others go on to develop major depression. Why? They get stuck on bad thoughts. They are unable to turn their attention away, though they know better. They keep going over their troubles, and negative thoughts develop into full-blown depression.

Meanwhile, a new report from the Heritage Foundation finds that the economy’s recovery has been stalled, in large part, by the new Obamacare legislation. The new law creates massive uncertainty in the labor market: employers don’t know what it will really cost to hire people and provide them with government-approved health insurance, so they’re holding off. Companies are also motivated by Obamacare to stay small, in order to avoid the law’s most onerous provisions.

Put it all together, and it’s easy to get the blues these days!

To help, focus first on your physical energy. People who are vital and energetic are generally better able to fight off negative thinking. How are you doing with your daily health habits? The five key habits are the ones I call The NEWSS: Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sleep, and Supplements. If you’ve been laid off, give yourself a job (while you search for one that pays) to get your personal vitality in tip-top shape. Start by cutting the garbage/food from your diet, and by exercising every day. Get two liters of water every day, and eight hours of sleep every night. And take at least one good multi-nutrient supplement to drive your new health kick.

Beyond that, while you’re waiting for your next paying adventure, take bold action to create some positive things in your life. Refocus on your key relationships. Read those books you’ve been meaning to read, especially the ones people might refer to in job interviews. Take on a new project – write a song or a story, create a work of art, try out for a play – something to keep yourself busy in a positive way. And start a business! These days, you can get into a solid home-based business for a relatively low investment, and it might just be your ticket to a new, free lifestyle.

You’ll have negative thoughts – we all have our ups and downs. But don’t let them dominate your life. The thoughts are yours, not the other way around. Remember that, and make sure you don’t focus too much on the negative. Life’s too short, and things will get better.

Hives And Mental Health Tension

Hives, or to use their medical term Urticaria, is an itchy red skin rash, which often looks similar to an insect bite. Hives tend to appear as a result of an allergic reaction; they can occur anywhere on the body and can affect both sexes and people of all ages. The rashes tend to vary in terms of how long they affect an individual, ranging from hours to days. The rash is caused as a result of the body releasing a chemical called Histamine. The chemical is released by the body to tackle the perceived problem and causing the redness, itchiness and swelling.

Hives can be caused by many ‘triggers’ but common factors include allergic reactions to food (such as seafood, dairy products and nuts), medications; antibiotics in particular can cause this problem, insect bites and chemicals; such as cleaning powder and make up. Another primary cause of hives is stress and anxiety. Hives due to anxiety are a little bit more difficult to treat as you cannot simply resolve the problem by simply removing an environmental factor.

Hives due to anxiety can be caused by excessive worry, stress at work or problems within your family or peer group. Increased stress and worry can caused our immune system to become confused, which can lead to the release of Histamines; which in turn cause the hives. If you find yourself repeatedly suffering from hives and you feel this is due to anxiety, you should consider what is going on in your life that is causing the anxiety.

If the issue is something that can be removed then you should try to take that action as soon as possible. If the problem is an ongoing issue and situation that you cannot remove yourself from, it may be worth taking further advice in terms of stress management. Your physician will provide you with a recommendation based on your particular circumstances.

You can treat the symptoms of hives effectively with antihistamines such as Zyrtec or Phenergan. You should be aware of the side effects of this type of medication such as drowsiness, which may be an issue if you need to drive or operate machinery.

In addition you can apply Corticosteroids such as Presdniolone, which will help reduce the swelling and rash. Lotions such as Calamine will also help reduce the overall itchiness of the rash and affected area.

Treating Depression with Tricyclic Antidepressants

Tricyclic antidepressants were the first antidepressants and were introduced to the psychiatric community towards the end of the 1950s. They are also the first choice of drug prescribed for people with major depression. Since their introduction their track record for helping relieve and treat the symptoms of depression is well established.

Tricyclic antidepressants work by blocking the reuptake of two monoamine transmitters, norepinephrine and serotonin, by neurons. The effects of these transmitters are intensified because of the blockage of the reuptake by the tricyclics. This mechanism is consistent with the monoamine hypothesis of depression, which asserts that depression stems from a deficiency in monoamine-mediated transmission and hence should be relieved by drugs that can intensify monoamine effects

It is important to understand that blockade of reuptake, by itself, cannot fully account for therapeutic effects. This occurs for two reasons. The clinical responses to the tricyclic antidepressants which is the relief of the depressive symptoms and the biochemical effects which block the transmitter reuptake do not happen at the same time.

The tricyclic antidepressants begin blocking transmitter uptake within hours of taking them but the relief of the depressive symptoms can take several weeks to fully develop. The reasons for this delay in relief of symptoms are not fully understood but it is thought that in the interval between the onset of the uptake blockade and the therapeutic response that intermediary neurochemical events are taking place.

Tricyclic antidepressants are the preferred drug of choice for people with major depression. These medicines can elevate mood, increase activity and alertness, decrease morbid preoccupation, improve appetite, and normalize sleep patterns. They have also been shown to be effective during the depressive episodes of bipolar disorder.

There are a series of side affects that those who take tricyclic antidepressants need to be aware of as some of them can have life threatening affects. These side affects include:

1. Orthostatic Hypotension – This is a drop in blood pressure as you stand up which can cause dizziness and lightheadedness. This can be minimized by moving slowly when moving to an upright posture.

2. Anticholinergic Affects – These can be dry mouth, blurred vision, photophobia, constipation, urinary hesitancy, and tachycardia.

3. Diaphoresis – This is sweating for no known reason. Why these medications cause this is unknown.

4. Sedation – Because tricyclics blockade histamine receptors in the central nervous system patients can experience different levels of sedation.

5. Cardiac Toxicity – Tricyclics can adversely affect cardiac function. However, in the absence of an overdose or a preexisting heart condition, serious effects are rare. To minimize the risk of heart problems all patients who are prescribed tricyclics should have an electrocardiogram evaluation before they begin treatment.

6. Seizures – Because tricyclics increase the chance of seizure patients with epilepsy or other seizure disorders must be monitored carefully.

7. Hypomania – This is a condition in which the depression symptoms are turned 180 degrees and mild mania develops. If this occurs it needs to be determined if this is caused by the medication or is the result of bipolar disorder.

Tricyclic antidepressants are also an overdose risk. It only takes approximately 8 times the daily dose for life threatening effects to occur. Because of this risk all acutely depressed people should not be given more than a one week supply.

The Types of Depression

If you seek treatment for depression chances are your therapist will classify your diagnoses based on what your symptoms are, their intensity, how long they last and possibly what might be the cause. Many times symptoms of depression are associated with other illnesses such as alcohol or drug abuse, eating disorders, endometriosis and anxiety disorders.

• Major Depression – Considered the most serious type of depression, people who suffer from it exhibit a greater number of and severity of symptoms then people with a lesser types. One sign therapists look for when diagnosing major depression is how it is impacting their daily life. If they are losing or have lost interest in doing things they used to normally do there is a good chance they are suffering it.

• Dysthymia – This is a less severe form of depression. Many of its sufferers go through life feeling sad, melancholic or just don’t seem to enjoy their lives. These feelings are mild compared to those who have major depression but people who suffer from dysthymia are more susceptible to becoming a victim of major depression.

• Bipolar Depression – Also known as manic depression or bipolar disorder it is characterized by major high and low mood swings. These mood swings can occur suddenly for no apparent reason. These up and down mood swings are believed to be caused by an imbalance in brain chemistry and can usually be treated successfully with medication.

• Atypical Depression – This form of depression is interspersed with periods of happiness and feeling good. These happy episodes are usually related to a positive event in the person’s life.

• Postpartum Depression – About 10% of new mothers experience some form of depression after they give birth. Most of the time it is related to sudden changes in hormone levels afterbirth and the symptoms go away as the new mother’s hormone levels return to normal. Women who suffered from depression previous to giving birth are more likely to experience the postpartum version.

• Psychotic Depression – This is an extreme form of major depression. The symptoms, including the major symptoms, include auditory hallucinations (hearing voices), visual hallucinations and delusional thinking. These hallucinations and delusions are frightening and negative and make the sufferer dangerous to not only themselves but to others as well.

• Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) – Also known as the “Winter Blues” is a form of depression that occurs during certain times of the year. In this case it normally occurs during the winter months with the depressive symptoms the worst during the middle of winter. Most research indicates that it is related to the amount of bright light a person is exposed to which leads to changes in brain chemistry.

Depression is the most talked about and known about psychological illness. TV commercials are full of ads about medications which can help and just about everyone knows someone who suffers from its affects. It is important if you think you or someone you know suffers from it to seek some form of medical help. With proper diagnosis all forms of depression can be treated and its sufferers returned to a normal life.

Reflections on the Loss of a 30-Year Drinking Partner

A friend of mine died on 31st June 2008. He was my drinking partner for 30 years. I watched him go through long depressions, fight illness, drink induced arrests and convictions. He was a loser, but I loved him. We were exactly the same height and weight so we reacted the same on long drinking binges. We went through everything together.

As younger men we were of one mind, full of fighting spirit, always scheming to better our love lives, trying the latest fashions, drugs and sharpening our drinking techniques.

But over the years, our ideas about drinking began to diverge. While he continued to be absorbed with his quest for the next bout of drink, forever trying to find the perfect balance between Love, work and drink. I discovered that I had become a slave to drinking, stopped me thinking at all. We remained virtual alter egos, but each with different reasons for drinking. His was to achieve social greatness, mine to unlock my inner self.

I knew his wife well. She was not a drinker and struggled to accommodate the changes we adopted in our lifestyles as we pursued our alcohol careers. Their relationship was like many others between drinkers and non-drinkers. There was conflict over missing days and illnesses after long binges. As their marital problems mounted, his drinking changed from a joy to an escape. When the marriage ended, it was not because of drinking as such, but drinking was all he had left.

Over the years we struggled to find common ground in our way of life, under the influence we would discuss deep issues eventually leading to life itself. We agonized and argued over which approach was best. Always the restricted fighter, he believed that the purpose of life’s journey was to arrive at one’s destination, for him, the journey was comprised of thousands of measured nips from a bottle.

I argued that there was an alternative—that the journey’s importance was not how it compared to the past or the future, but rather the quality of each step along the way.

My friend devoted much of his life to avoiding adversity, seeking always to find an perfect formula for personal fulfillment and success. Drinking, fatigue and pain were enemies to be out-smarted in order to accomplish his goals.

In his heart, he knew I was right, but he was afraid to admit it, and was afraid to leave behind his life’s philosophy, even though it took an ever-increasing toll on his physical and mental health. I worried about him, about us. But, I loved him and hoped for the best.

The end came quietly on June 31st 2008 after we shared a grueling 48hrs. I felt tired but renewed at the end. He had been unusually quiet and I was encouraged because he seemed more at peace than before. It happened as we rested together on a sofa in front of a blank TV, dripping with perspiration, shaking with the approaching horrors. No one called an ambulance. He just smiled and slipped away, leaving me alone in the twilight. I walked away to a better cleaner life. I knew we were both better for it because, you see, he was also me.

________

The above short story is how I began to overcome the bonds of alcohol. Having the inner power to release the chains would not have been possible if it wasn’t the realisation that Mind body and Spirit are one. By being open to true awareness and listen not to “The Dark Side of my Ego” but the spiritual guidance of a silent mind. From within I found my true self to which I look for direction, not with a downhearted poor me attitude of days gone past, but with the internal spiritual freedom to overcome and move on to a wholeness that never gave up on me and sat patiently waiting for me to recognise something that had never left me, my true self.

 Thank you for listening

I awoke from dark place, no not enlightenment but an acceptance of who I am and what I had become. For the first time in my life I was not scared, nor was I acting out the smokescreen that had become my life. For years I just survived, I then began to heal, this in turn transformed my life, and then I learned how to live.I began to realize that anytime any part of my life energy is out of balance, it affected every aspect of my live and that caused a ripple effect that goes out and taints the space around me.  I can attest to the fact that the slightest imbalance can have significant effects on so many lives, bringing  balance back in to my life not only gave me peace but the peace and harmony emanated outwardsI learned that life is a precious gift, never to be taken for granted, not even for a moment.  I learned the importance of feeling good and being aware in each moment, and I learned how to live in the moment, to acknowledge awareness.  I took my passion and turned them into my life.http://healthlifemeditation.com/ This site is dedicated to helping you by giving you the answers you are looking for, so that you can become empowered, feel good again, and make your life into what you wish.

Evidence-Based Counseling Life Coach Certification for PTSD Depression & Suicide Prevention

Accountability and an evidence-based solution for PTSD, depression and suicide prevention have been at the forefront in the military for several years. During this time hundreds of millions of tax payer dollars have been spent on research to find a solution.

In 2008 a study released from Rand called “Invisible Wounds of War” addressed the issue of PTSD, major depression and the rising suicide rate in the military. At the time the Rand study was released there was a discipline which had already been compliant with the Rand study for over a decade. This discipline is Subconscious Restructuring® or SR® and takes a significantly different approach when compared to current modalities used in the military or the behavioral health system.

The focus of SR® is on how each individual processes their life events from the deepest level of the subconscious as opposed to analyzing why someone was traumatized by an event. This enables one to interrupt restructure and reprogram a traumatic event which continually replays in the subconscious and causes repeated emotional distress.

In order to know if a solution works data must be collected but the question is what data needs to be collected to indicate whether a proposed solution is working. Efficacy of empirical data in behavioral health occurs when constants are measured and changed and legitimacy of the data occurs when it is generated by the client. The constant in counseling and life coaching is the clients’ emotional state. Measuring, monitoring and improving this constant is what brings about the efficacy of an intervention.

With twenty one years of data collection SR® has taken data protocol a couple steps further with a three instrument checklist which also monitors the effectiveness of the counselor or life coach. The primary instrument used in the SR® baseline is an “Emotional Checklist” which addresses a full range of emotions and indicates if the client is showing symptoms of depression.

All who are certified in the SR® process are required to use the three instrument checklist. The SR® Behavioral Health Network provides a fully interactive EHR which enables both counselor and client to monitor progress from a central location worldwide.

PTSD case and group studies using the SR® paradigm have set a new standard in regard to the timeline with just four hours to show a marked improvement. Follow-up is determined by several factors including age, gender, education and use of drugs or alcohol.

SR® Case Study

Case Study Notes: In 2004 this Marine was in the battle for Fallujah when he was struck with shrapnel from an RPG and suffered a traumatic brain injury. While on the ground after being struck he was shot twice in the chest at point blank range. His body armor protected him from the bullet but he suffered a cracked sternum.

Case Study Percent Improvements: Depression 78%, anxiety 71%, anger 83%, sleep 66%, suicidal ideation 83%, Negative Self Talk 66%, eating behavior 85%, relationship satisfaction, 55%.

SR® Group Study

Group Study Notes: All 14 in the group study below have seen combat duty and were individually counseled from August, 15th 2010 to April, 3rd 2011. This sample represents one hundred percent of the clients Beau Chatham, MSRC counseled with a PTSD diagnoses during this period. All counseling consisted of two, two-hour sessions.

Group Study Percent Improvements: Depression 45%, anxiety 42%, anger 50%, sleep 37%, suicidal ideation 61%, eating behavior 36%, relationship satisfaction, 22%.

Resiliency of warrior is assured by empowering them with the tools to consistently implement the SR® process anytime of the day or night.

All Natural Solutions in Learning How to Beat Anxiety

Are you the person who is constantly in the grips of high anxiety and stress?  Does the thought of losing your job, (indeed if you currently have one) and being able to provide for you and your family leave you in a high state of agitation, almost completely neurotic?  Is your heart always racing, your palms constantly sweaty, and do you feel as if your head will shortly explode because of the tension and constant strain on your nervous system?

My friend, I have been in your shoes.  Fifteen years ago I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression following a traumatic event which took place in my life.  I came out safely on the other side however.  In learning how to beat anxiety personally in my case, it involved a lot of support, advice, and practicing behavior modification techniques.   I will be all too glad to share with you what helped me regain control of my life.

You must first understand that having a high level of stress, agitation, and worry is not a permanent condition.  Often individuals afflicted with these mental conditions simply resign themselves to the false notion that they will never get better. Nothing can be further from the truth.  It will take however a lot of work, dedication, and a certain level of stubbornness on your part in wanting to overcome this condition.  The point is that you should never give up.

Natural solutions would involve behavior techniques that do not rely solely on medication as providing the answer.  I was prescribed medication only as a temporary solution in treating the symptoms that I was going through.  I had the racing heart, elevated blood pressure, sickness to my stomach, and level of nervousness; all signs of anxiety.  However, my psychiatrist made it crystal clear to me that the medication that I took only treated these symptoms.  The pills that I took would never be the permanent solution to my condition.  Any qualified and reputable specialist in the field of mental health would be almost mandated in providing this information to any patient.

Here are some behavioral techniques that I implemented in eventually helping me overcome my condition, as recommended by my doctor:

1). I found an activity that I enjoyed which eased my mind away from the triggers that led to my high state of agitation and stress.  In my case I loved both airplanes and computers.  So, I merged the two and, (through a lot of study on my part) became adept at flying jets using Microsoft flight simulation computer software.  It became a very involved hobby of mine, but it was a rewarding and relaxing one as well.  Whether it be playing chess, knitting, restoring cars, or gardening find an activity that will relax your entire being.  Your thoughts need to be on something other than what is constantly causing you to be neurotic and constantly filled with overwhelming levels of stress.

2). I have always loved road bicycling since I was a youth when my parents bought me a ten-speed bike.  I now own an 18 speed touring bike.  I still ride 3-4 times per week, minimum.  I often ride 20 or more miles per day.  You need to get involved in a workout activity.  Whether it is walking, running, biking, swimming, or playing hoops down at the rec; get your mind away from the thoughts that lead to your level of stress.  You will be doing wonders for your cardiovascular system as you sweat.  Another benefit through a workout regimen is that endorphins which create stress in your body will be released naturally as you engage in physical activity.  You will be sweating, hopefully enjoying the activity that you participate in, lowering the level of stress in your body, and easing your mind all at once.  It doesn’t get any better than that.

Remember though to drink plenty of fluids, (water and sports drinks) during exercise to prevent becoming dehydrated.  Take it even further by drinking fluids before the activity as a means of getting your body hydrated initially.  Remember also the cool-down phase following a workout.  Take the time afterward to do some gentle stretching exercises of different muscle groups.  You would also be getting rid of the lactic acid that has built up in your body during the workout activity.

3). I encourage you to also build in some time daily simply participating in relaxing activities.  Quietly sit down and read a book.  Listen to soothing Classical music.  Learn how to practice meditation or yoga exercises.  While exercise which done properly taxes the body physically; relaxation techniques obviously have the opposite effect.  In either case the benefit would be in taking your mind to a different place entirely; away from the negative thoughts which cause stress, worry, and agitation.

In learning how to beat anxiety, you are strongly urged to incorporate the type of all natural solutions that I suggested.  You do not have to live with this condition for the rest of your life.  Instead, be pro-active.  Understand that ultimately it is you who has control of your mind and body.

Fifteen years ago, I went through a very traumatic experience in my life. Because of that I eventually was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder through a medical professional in the field of psychiatry. I had many panic attacks that I often found to be overwhelming. At times, I feel as if I was not in control of the thoughts coming from my mind. Through behavior modification exercises provided by a trained medical professional, and through loving support of friends and family members, I overcame this disorder. I wish to offer support and guidance to those individuals who are going through the same ordeal as I did.
