Helping people to stay accountable in recovery

My dream is to help people, especially newcomers, stay accountable in recovery. A phone call from a caring friend or concerned alcoholic once a week, twice a week, three times a week, whatever the person needs, could just be accountable. They would be asked serious questions that pertain to their particular situation in life, so they're not bogus, waste of time questions. Just to see where they are at insobriety, if they could be taking more action, how they are doing with helping others, are they on solid ground, etc. And then offer them suggestions and help. Like maybe they want us to call their sponsor, or family member, or DR, or therapist. The point is to just keep them accountable. I relapsed after seven years, and I know that it was because I was not held accountable, not keeping myself accountable.
